I have heard recently a few people call in to ask about what exactly happened on the cruise that got Marcus fired. Of course Bill Smith and fellow co-douchers won't reveal anything, so I decided to search for it. Here is an article from the Deseret News from right after this incident happened and Marcus was filing a lawsuit against the station for defamation of character. It pretty much sums it up nicely so I won't try to go into it here. According to the Wikipedia article on 1019 the End, this suit was later dropped when a cassette was produced as evidence. Ah, local trash finds breading ground on 101.9 cruise(or 107.5 back then). Why does this not surprise me?
